COPS Walk Midwest will bring together survivors, friends, and members of the law enforcement community who are willing to take on the challenge of walking 25 miles in 2 days to raise funds for C.O.P.S.
The walk is designed to provide participants with a physical challenge as well as the opportunity to spend time with survivors, law enforcement officers, and friends walking in memory of loved ones or co-workers. This walk is not timed; it is not a race.
This two-day, 25-mile walk will be along the Fox River Trail between the towns of Aurora and Elgin, taking in quaint waterfront villages, towns, and parks along the way. This paved rail trail follows along both sides of the Fox River, tracking back and forth over various bridges and river ways of the Kane County Forest Preserve.
